Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy
Effective June 2026
This Policy explains the technologies used by D.O.X Capital on https://www.thedoxs.com and how you can manage them.
1. Scope and definitions
A cookie is a small browser file; similar technologies include local or session storage, pixels, SDKs, device identifiers, fingerprinting signals, tags, and server-side event matching. A detailed inventory of the technologies in use is available in our cookie preference center.
2. Strictly necessary
Necessary technologies support security, authentication, fraud prevention, load balancing, network management, form progress, and consent storage, and other functions you request. They are not padded with analytics or advertising functions. The inventory identifies each technology's name, provider, purpose, duration, and first- or third-party status.
3. Functional
Functional technologies remember optional preferences or enable convenience features such as language, scheduling, media, or chat. In jurisdictions requiring consent, they remain disabled until accepted unless they are necessary for a feature you affirmatively request.
4. Analytics
Analytics technologies may measure visits, device and browser characteristics, page interactions, errors, and aggregated performance. We do not describe analytics as anonymous unless configuration and vendor terms make that accurate. Session replay and keystroke capture are prohibited on password, payment, upload, chat, and other sensitive fields.
5. Advertising and social media
Advertising, cross-context behavioral, conversion, lookalike-audience, and social-media technologies are not deployed without the jurisdiction-specific consent or opt-out flow, vendor contracts, sale/share analysis, and disclosure. A cookie banner is not by itself a consumer privacy-request system.
6. Email and communication tracking
Messages may use pixels or tracked links only as disclosed, and we offer the applicable opt-out. Transactional communications are not conditioned on optional marketing tracking, and we honor unsubscribe and consent withdrawal without disabling required account notices.
7. Consent and choice
In opt-in jurisdictions, nonessential technologies stay off until you act. The first layer presents equally prominent "Accept all," "Reject nonessential," and "Manage choices" controls, without prechecked boxes. In opt-out jurisdictions, we provide the legally required notice and controls, and an unknown region uses the more protective configured mode.
8. Withdrawal and preference center
You may revisit the cookie preference center to change your choices as easily as you accepted them. Withdrawal prevents future nonessential use and triggers vendor propagation where required; it may not remove data already processed lawfully. We preserve a minimal consent record with version, categories, vendors, jurisdiction rule, signal, timestamp, and withdrawal.
9. Global Privacy Control and universal signals
Where applicable law requires it, D.O.X Capital recognizes a legally valid browser or device universal opt-out mechanism such as Global Privacy Control and applies it to sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising processing within the signal's required scope. We do not demand identity verification for a device-level signal when law prohibits it.
10. Browser and device controls
Browsers and devices may block or delete cookies, but generic browser settings may not express every legal opt-out, and blocking necessary technologies may affect authentication or requested features. Browser settings are not the sole choice where a law requires an in-site control.
11. Third parties and retention
Providers are listed in the cookie preference center with links to relevant information. Their independent processing may be governed by their policies, while our selection and configuration responsibilities remain. Retention durations match the inventory and internal schedule; we avoid default indefinite durations.
12. Changes and reconciliation
We update this Policy when technologies or purposes materially change and request renewed consent where required. Automated tag scans, browser storage inspection, and network traces are reconciled against the inventory before each release.
